She has been on the Behaviour Support Practitioners Australia (BSPA) board of directors since 2023, and has contributed to numerous advisory groups, PBS resource project evaluations, communities of practice, and focus groups. She is the director of Your Life Matters, delivering behaviour support, clinical supervision, training, and PBS consultancy across Australia.

Kylie Denman
Behaviour Specialist / Developmental Educator
Since graduating as a Developmental Educator in 2015 Kylie has experienced a wide range of roles in the disability sector including Support Work, Project and Program Coordination, and Senior Practitioner (including Specialized Support Coordination and Advocacy support). It was in these roles that she first came across Positive Behaviour Support. She quickly identified it’s benefits and started learning as much as she could about how it worked. This led Kylie to complete the Post Graduate Certificate in Positive Behaviour Support through Flinders University prior to stepping into her current role of Behaviour Specialist.
Kylie loves that she gets to use an evidence-based process that is tailored to the person she is working with. She believes it highlights the important distinction between the person and the challenging behaviour. Kylie is especially interested in teaching others how to use principles of positive behaviour support in their lives.

Cath began her career as an Administrative Service Officer with the Australian Government. She is known for her exceptional organisational skills and initiative.
She has had several administrative roles over the years and successfully ran her own small business.
Managing finances, creating budgets and helping others is something Cath has continually undertaken throughout her life.
Since 2015, Cath has dedicated much of her time as a volunteer coach and committee member at Riding for the Disabled Jennibrook Farm. Here, she had been heavily involved in delivering quality equine based services and therapy for people with disabilities. A role she cherished, as seeing the development and changes in behaviour when surrounded by a nurturing and positive environment, was very rewarding.
